About Us
Building Character For Life™ is an instructor-led course for children ages 6 to 11 years, designed to explore life lessons and character development, including:
- What it means to behave responsibly, ethically, and honestly
- How to manage and express emotions appropriately and in a healthy manner
- Virtues such as forgiveness, compassion, fairness, credibility, and respect
- How to express oneself creatively and confidently
- What it means to make sacrifices for others
- Why it’s important to keep dreaming and follow your heart
Leaders receive a complete Toolkit with everything they need to conduct the course, including instructions and materials, a corresponding take-home Activity Book, and a copy of the “Follow Your Heart” movie, which is used throughout the course to provide topical examples and facilitate group-led discussions and activities.
Building Character For Life™ is instructionally designed to accommodate a range of learning levels and styles, and is appropriate for many academic or recreational environments, including:
